banked fires
You are lit
I am lit
both are lit
From within

Often watching
Flitting fireflies
Within reach
They were also
lit from within

morning star shining,fading
at daybreak, evening star
winking glowing bright
reaffirm faith
lit from within

glow or fade
shine or dim
hope and happiness
permeates those
lit from within

despair is unacceptable
defeat is unacceptable
weakness is unacceptable
pretense is unacceptable

nurtured by affection
